Prenatal Care: 
Appointments are 30-60 minutes long, depending on how many questions you have. Children are welcome at prenatal appointments and often enjoy participating in the care provided for moms!

Throughout your prenatal care, I carefully monitor both maternal and fetal well-being through routine physical assessments. Baby’s growth is evaluated through abdominal palpation and fundal measurements, heart tones are regularly assessed, and lab work and additional screenings are completed as indicated or requested.

Prenatal Care Schedule:

• 8-27 weeks [every 4 weeks]

• 28-36 weeks [every 2 weeks]

• 37-40 [weekly]

• 40+ [twice weekly]

​Additional costs: 

• $135 - Complete lab package
  (adjusted if other lab arrangements have been made) 

• ​$160-200 - Anatomy scan
  Paid to the sonographer unless other arrangements have been made.

• $200-$400- Travel fee
  ​A travel fee of $200 will be required if you are having a home birth and live between 45 – 100 miles or between 45 minutes – 1.75 hours away from Tulsa; or $400 if you live more than 100 miles or more than 1.75 hours away from Tulsa.

• $95 - Birth kit (cost may vary)
  (birth center births will be provided a birth kit)

• $100 - Birth pool rental + liner
  Birth pools are sent home with you at 36 weeks and set up for your labor. After birth, the pool is taken down and cleaned.

​Other additional costs, such as newborn medications, additional follow-up labs or scans, supplements, or antibiotics, will be discussed as needed.

Available discounts: 

• $100 discount if paid in full before 28 weeks

• $100 discount for repeat clients

Payment plan: 
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at your first appointment. The remaining balance is due in full by 36 weeks. I am committed to making midwifery care as accessible as possible while honoring the time, preparation, and dedication this work requires. Payment plans may be arranged upon request and are offered at the midwife’s discretion.

Insurance: 

Midwifery care is typically not billed directly to insurance. After services are completed, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. For help navigating the reimbursement process, some families utilize services like Napier Midwifery Billing.
